Installation requirements

XSBS can be installed in a few minutes on most standard PCs. Its is developed in .Net and ABAP components. Minimum requirements are as follow:

  • Windows 7 and all later versions / Windows Server 2003 or later versions-
  • .Net Framework 4.5 or later versions
  • SAPGUI installed on the PC (7.40 maximum currently)
  • Microsoft Office 2007 or later versions
  • Memory: 2 GB minimum, depending on data volume, more may be required
  • Disk space: for the installation 80 MB total required to install
  • 1Ghz Processor
  • 32/64-Bit Environment: the product can be installed on 32-Bit and 64-Bit operating systems
  • Security Settings: SAP authentication: SSO (Single Sign On) or SAP credentials, SAP system or dialog user with appropriate authority objects
  • If a SAP-Router is used, the ports are 3299 and 3399. If not, the ports are 32XX and 33XX. XX is usually the System number (like 00, or 05). Sometimes the firewall is blocking the traffic to the SAP System. This could be a local Firewall, but also a Firewall in the destination network – please check with your IT should you encounter SAP system connection issues

NB: depending on your local security settings and policy within your company, you may require administrator rights to execute XSBS Installation package.

How to download and install XSBS

Once your have downloaded XSBS free trial installation package after registering online, you simply need to launch it and follow the simple steps below :

  • Launch XSBS installation package
  • Chose the 30- day free trial option
  • Input your SAP user name and email address
  • Check your email for your activation code
  • Enter your activation code in XSBS windows
  • Check your SAP connections
  • Start using XSBS !
